His story

Eric Jason Dunn was 43 and lived in Sneads Ferry. He had a past traumatic brain injury.

He was last seen on Aug. 10, 2014, on surveillance video at the Handy Mart on Highway 172. His car was later found at the Sneads Ferry Post Office with the windows down. His wife reported him missing on Aug. 14.

There has been no financial activity or communication from him since, and authorities do not believe he left on his own. The Sheriff's Office treats his disappearance as a potential homicide.
